Rise10 Recruitment are partnering with a leading company in the Water and Wastewater sector who are now recruiting for a Electrical Control Systems Installation Engineer. This is a key hire, offering you a unique chance to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless installation and commissioning of essential equipment.

You’ll take ownership of the installation, modification, and commissioning of LV assemblies, control panels, and associated equipment across multiple utility sites. This is your chance to make a real impact in a business that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission new LV assemblies, control panels, kiosks, and related equipment.
  • Carry out modifications and upgrades to existing control panels and electrical systems.
  • Perform fault finding, testing, and troubleshooting on electrical installations and automation systems.
  • Ensure installations comply with current electrical regulations and site safety requirements.
  • Liaise directly with clients, site representatives, and other contractors to coordinate works and resolve technical issues.
  • Supervise and support team members or subcontractors when required, ensuring work is completed safely and to specification.
  • Complete all relevant documentation, permits, and handover reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism at all times.

About You:

  • Recognised ECS Electrical Card or equivalent (e.g., JIB, CSCS with electrical qualification).
  • Time-served Electrician or relevant NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification.
  • Proven experience in industrial or utility electrical installations, preferably within the water industry.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • SSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Experience supervising small teams or subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with Anglian Water or other UK water utility standards.
  • Knowledge of PLC/HMI systems and instrumentation.
