Rise10 Recruitment are currently supporting the recruitment of an Integration Test Manager to join an Integration team based in Northamptonshire.
This is an opportunity for an organised and self-motivated professional with experience in testing and delivering integrated automation projects to customers.
The role will lead testing plans, manage Integration Test Engineers, ensure contractual and safety testing requirements are met, support project teams and customers, and drive continuous improvement across the testing of automated solutions.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Integration, you will have responsibility for testing activities across automated warehouse solutions, from pre-sales discussions through to project delivery and post-handover performance testing.
You will work closely with Sales, Solution Design, Engineering, Software, Installation, Project Management and customers to ensure testing requirements are clearly defined, communicated and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales and Solution Design teams with project development and define contractual testing requirements for automated warehouse proposals.
- Lead software scope discussions with customers and project teams.
- Develop, communicate and manage end-to-end testing plans covering internal and external hardware and software requirements.
- Develop and agree testing scripts with customers to meet contractual and operational requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee testing activities including supplier checks and FATs, customer acceptance and UAT, software beta testing, hardware and sub-system testing, safety testing and contractual performance testing.
- Manage testing activities through to completion, ensuring non-compliances and testing-related actions are recorded and closed out.
- Work with customers and project teams during testing, including attending customer sites as required.
- Manage and develop the Integration Test Engineers, ensuring they are supported, safe and appropriately developed.
- Monitor system performance following customer take-over and support post-handover contractual testing.
- Provide test data to support solution development and contribute to continuous improvement and the development of testing tools.
- Proactively support the wider project team to deliver contractual and quality commitments.
About You
We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual who can prioritise effectively, make balanced decisions and work with limited direct supervision. You will be comfortable working with customers and able to communicate technical information appropriately to different audiences, whether verbally, in writing, in person or through Teams.

Skills & Experience
- Graduate-level education in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Software, Quality Management or Compliance.
- Experience in Warehouse Automation.
- Understanding of the elements that make up an integrated automation solution, including:
- Mechanical subsystems
- PLC controls
- WMS/WCS software
- Detailed understanding of Warehouse Automation, either through deep knowledge of operations and Warehouse Management Systems as an end user, or through deep understanding of the engineering and software elements of an automated system as an integration provider.
The role will require working away from home in the UK during customer site project periods.
