Rise10 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Post Completion Assistant to join a well-established and busy legal team based in Northampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in conveyancing, post completion, property administration or legal administration who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

As a Post Completion Assistant, you will support the wider conveyancing teams with all aspects of post completion work, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and within required timescales.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of post completion work across the firm
  • Supporting conveyancing teams with post completion matters
  • Preparing AP1 and FR1 applications
  • Dealing with requisitions from HM Land Registry promptly and accurately
  • Carrying out Land Registry priority searches
  • Diarising and managing priority dates
  • Keeping lenders updated where registrations are delayed
  • Using lender portals to upload required information
  • Scheduling files to lenders or clients
  • Closing sale and purchase files on the case management system
  • Dealing with post completion accounts and queries, including clearing balances prior to archiving
  • Preparing and archiving files
  • Carrying out filing and scanning duties as required
  • Providing general administrative support to the team
  • Answering telephone calls professionally and providing a high level of customer service

About You:

  • Previous experience within a legal, conveyancing or property environment, with an understanding of post completion processes
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities
  • Confident using computer systems and case management systems
  • Professional and confident when communicating with clients, lenders and colleagues
  • Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused with a professional and helpful approach
  • Keen to develop your knowledge and career within the legal sector
  • Experience with HM Land Registry applications, requisitions, lender portals or post completion work would be highly advantageous.
