Rise10 Recruitment are working with a specialised engineering company focused on the integration, control, and automation of complex infrastructure, who are currently seeking a QHSE Manager. This is a key hire, offering the chance to lead and shape the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance landscape within the company.

This is a standalone role, based at HQ in Derbyshire. As the QHSE Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental compliance. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborating with various departments, you will promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental consciousness across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including onsite Health & Safety audits
  • Act as ISO Auditor for 9001, 14001, 45001 quality systems
  • Investigate and record quality non-conformances, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Provide guidance and support to departments to address compliance issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Analyse data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in QHSE performance
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and recommend necessary adjustments
  • Maintain training records and identify both internal and external training requirements
  • Deliver health and safety inductions to new employees

About You:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Recognised qualifications in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in QHSE compliance management
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and RAMS reviews
  • Holds NEBOSH
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify compliance gaps
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
